Lecture: Self-assessment Tooling 'How do you measure your city's AI readiness?'
Stefano Marta (OECD)
Multiple Rooms
Is your city ready for AI, and what does 'ready' actually mean? The OECD is developing a self-assessment tool that allows cities to map their own AI readiness along three dimensions: technological, organizational, and contextual readiness. It is not an external assessment, but rather a mirror held up to the city itself. Stefano Marta (OECD) explains the tool: how is it structured, and what does it measure and what does it not?
Afterwards, we place the tool in a broader context. Several assessments already exist side by side, such as LORDIMAS for digital maturity and the work of the Estonian EGA.EE. How does the OECD tool relate to these, and what does that mean for a city that has to choose today what to get started with?
