National: How to translate conversations with stakeholders — directly — into a design for the city
Designing a neighbourhood starts with conversations. With residents, policymakers, designers. Everyone has an opinion, a wish, a concern. But how do you translate all those words into a concrete plan? And how do you show people what their choices mean in practice?
PolyPlan does that. Spoken or written input — from a participation conversation, a policy document or a residents' evening — is converted in real time into a spatial 3D model. Do you choose more greenery? PolyPlan immediately shows what that means for building height. Do you want wider cycle paths? Then the other parameters shift accordingly.
This makes complex trade-offs visible to everyone at the table — not just the specialist.
During the pitch you see PolyPlan in action for the 't Zoet area in Breda. What happens when you say: 'more greenery, fewer cars, homes for starters'?
